Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) uses the occupation of play to promote the development of fine motor, gross motor, visual motor integration, sensory processing, and self care skills.

What does OT do for a child?

Occupational therapy takes a holistic approach to assess the child, identifying the skills they require to accomplish both necessary and desired tasks. An intervention plan is then created, integrating the child's interests and play preferences to foster the skill development needed for these tasks.

What does an occupational therapy session look like?

Our therapists use a neuro affirming, child- centered approach to incorporate movement, visual skills, communication, and play to achieve specific goals.
